Emerald City Multisport Team
One of the only non-profit multisport
teams in Seattle, Emerald City Multisport Team has been active in the
Northwest sports community since 2007, competing in Triathlon, Duathlon,
running races and participating in cycling tours. Emerald City
Multisport Team focuses on racing and provides the training support
necessary to compete effectively while maintaining balance in our busy
lives.

Wetsuit Demo Days
· What: Wetsuit Demo – Ever want to try out a wetsuit for FREE? This is your chance to try on different wetsuits and experience the amazing difference of a wetsuit. Thanks to Speedy Ready for supplying the wetsuits. Emerald City Multisport Team will supply the kayak and swim support.
· Dates: Tuesdays - June 24th, July 1st, July 15th, July 29th
· TIME: 6:30 pm

Team BBQ - July 11
2008 Triathlon
Season is HERE! Let us kick if off in style with a 2nd Annual BBQ at Rob
and Kelly's house. Rob and Kelly will be cooking burgers and veggie /
vegan burgers.
Bring your own drinks and a uniform if you have one. Bring your
significant others, but please no kids.
RSVP by accepting the Evite invitation - helps us get the food count
right :-) Also please let us know by using the Evite function if you are
a vegan or any other requests.
We will be doing our annual team picture to send to our sponsors - we
will also pass out the Team Technical T-shirts too.
Nutrition Discussion- July 17th

to attend our TRIATHLON NUTRITION PANEL DISCUSSION
Nutrition is key part to a successful endurance event. Ever wonder how
to set up a nutrition plan to fuel your body during key training periods
and peak race times? This discussion will cover a basic overview of
setting up a nutrition plan and in depth details of what to do before,
during and after (post-recovery) of a race. We invite you to bring your
nutrition questions to our panel of local nutritionists and coaches, we
will also have FREE sample product available.

Monday Night Swims - Mercer Island Pool
Thanks to Dave for organizing these workouts! Starting April
14th, we will have Monday night swims at Mercer Island Pool, from 7:00 -
8:00 P.M. Workouts will include drills, technique work, aerobic and
speed training. Each workout will focus on something different. We will
swim during the normal lap swim, but will take over a few lanes
depending on turnout. Hope to see you there!
