From ranking third in the nation as a U23 triathlete to participating in the 2006 International Triathlon Union World Championships, Mary enjoys participating in the sport of triathlon. She believes that quality group training helps create motivation and inner strength to improve personal performance. Mary is dedicated to helping others improve their performance and reach their goals.
After racing for many years in the Seattle area, Mary co-founded Emerald City Multisport Team in early 2007.

Timothy
Becker - Vice PresidentCERTIFICATIONS: USAT Level 1, USA Cycling Level 3
Tim has been coaching beginner to elite athletes for over 20 years. Tim competed in running and cycling in high school and college. He was a two time NCAA finalist in Track and was a member of the1980 NCAA Division II National Championship Cross Country Team. He has a Masters degree in Exercise Physiology and was a lecturer at Humboldt State University from 1985 to 1991. His clients include local and national athletes from first-time participants to Olympic Medal winners.
Tim also runs Seattle Multisport Training Center and enjoys helping others succeed in their race goals.

Jennifer
McKinney - Team Treasurer CERTIFICATIONS: American Red Cross Lifeguard and US Masters Swim Coach
From the mountains of Canada to the lava fields at Kona, Jen loves competing in Ironman distance. Traveling far and wide, Jen loves to train and race for triathlons. She is also an Ironman Leader for our team, giving expert knowledge and advice to our team. When Jen is not training for a triathlon, she is a marketing manager for a local software company on the Eastside.

A collegiate swimmer specializing in distance swimming, Dave was a born triathlete. Dave has recently moved from Micghan to the great Northwest and brings years of swim coaching experience. When Dave is not out training, he is an Environmental Engineer.

Shannon
Carney - Member at LargeFrom Salem, Oregon, Shannon has been competing in triathlons in the Pacific Northwest scene for over 5 years. Shannon has previous experience in weight loss and motivational programs. For 2008, Shannon will be competing in her first Ironman at Ironman Canada. Currently Shannon is running our Tuesday night indoor cycling at Montaland McGrath Chiropractic Center on the Eastside.
